Olvera Advisors provides an opportunity for a Manager collaborating with the leadership team and to mentor team members within the insolvency, restructuring and turnaround industry. You will be involved in managing various formal and informal insolvency and advisory matters, responsible for providing high quality reporting on financial analysis, business operations and functions. The candidate will receive a hands-on opportunity and supported career where progression is based on ability and knowledge.

This opportunity is a platform to grow within our advisory firm, which will draw upon your analytical expertise and business acumen. You will work on a range of diverse high-profile clients and gain experience in industries including hospitality, retail, and media. You will continue to be challenged within your role with not one day being the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of distressed company engagements, both formal and informal, including VA’s, liquidations, advisory
  • Assisting with implementing and maintaining risk management for team management as well as client facing
  • Development and implementation of systems and processes to ensure a high professional standard, aligning the firm’s policies and procedures
  • Involvement in business development and networking events and opportunities
  • Financial modelling experience will be an advantage
  • Development of training programs and mentoring of team members for individual staff development.

Key Qualifications:

To be considered for this opportunity you will have CA qualifications or equivalent
and ale to demonstrates strong investigative, precision thinking, statistical analysis
capabilities and possess the following skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (i.e., degree in commerce/economics/business and/or law, majors/minors in accounting or finance)

By joining us, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment. Once established in the firm, you will also have the chance be involved in business development activities including the creation of client pitches and proposals to win new business.

We take the time to understand the complexity of stakeholders needs and the
importance of value preservations strategies in Voluntary Administration or
Liquidation scenarios. In the undertaking of these scenarios, an integral part of this
role will include:

  • Dealing with stakeholder enquires over the telephone and in writing
  • Assisting and prepare of statutory reports
  • Assisting with investigations into an insolvent entity’s finances
  • Analysing financial statements and accounting records

We’re searching for a dynamic Marketing and Design Coordinator to be an integral part of our dedicated team at Olvera Advisors. You’ll be working in collaboration with Martin, our esteemed Marketing Manager, and our seasoned senior teams, being a key contributor in embodying our unique ‘Ollie Way’ management approach.

This role is a fascinating blend of creativity, communication, and collaboration. It provides an excellent opportunity to work on diverse tasks including SharePoint management, partner marketing, blog and social media content creation, content coordination across various platforms and suppliers, and contributing to our design and user experience endeavours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Facilitating Internal Marketing and Partner Initiatives:
    • Assisting with the setup and management of SharePoint content, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
    • Developing and implementing marketing strategies in collaboration with our partners, fostering strong and beneficial relationships.
